Honda Accorda will not turn off!

I would like to know whats wrong with your car when you have switch it off and it is still running.
I have a 1987 Honda Accord LX with 250,000 miles. It a manual drive, 4cylinder, 4 door car. I was told that it could be my spark plugs, but I wanted to make sure before spending money. Anyone's help is greatly appreciated.

Could be an ignition switch and a throttle plate that's not closing completely, vacuum leak, ignition timing-or an engine overheating.
