MY HONDA ACCORD STICKS IN PARK, IS HARD TO GET OUT OF PARK AND HARD TO GET BACK INTO PARK, AND THE (S) LIGHT IS FLASHING IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, WHAT DOES THE S LIGHT FLASHING INDICATE, AND CAN THIS PROBLEM BE FIXED AT HOME?

You probably have 2 problems:1 the "sticking" probem is the shifter cable;it needs to be replaced(do yourself a favor and buy a genuine honda part for this, it'll save you alot of trouble and frustration during replacement and after!
Second the flashing light means you have a trouble code with the transmission. Change the cable then disconnect the battery for at least 30 seconds. Drive the car for a couple of days or more and if the light never returns it was just because the cable wasn't allowing the park-neutral switch to properly seat in each position.
