Honda Accord Idle Fluctuations

Engine problem
Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 107000 miles

When I start up car in morning it will idle up to around 2400, which I dont think is normal. Then when I drive it for a little bit then stop and put in park or neutral the idle will go up and down will range from 1100 to 1500, I dont kno what it would be.

Get a can of spray gumout, start the car and spray around, pay attention to vacuum lines and manifold, if the idle changes, you found a leak. You want the engine running and spray on the outside but do direct the stream onto the hoses, if it is a vacuum leak, the engine idle will change speed, then you have detected a leak, repair the vacuum leak and see how it runs! The idle air control valve may also be giving you problems.

ty man, im looking at it now and the hoses were loose! They werent even tight and theres a little air line that doesnt look properly hooked up, idk if it is or not, you got something that could tell me if it is or not?
That's why the gumout spray, you will find loose or poor connections.
