2007 Honda Accord Gas Fums in Car

When I start the car in the morning with either the heater or air condictioner on, there is a strong odor of gas fums for at least 5 minutes. The rest of the time, no odor.

Gas fumes smell only in the morning could be due to the Evap system or charcoal canister hoses dislodged or ruptured.

Since your car is still new and under warranty, it would be best to let the dealer handle it. We would not like you to risk breaching the warranty terms.
