2003 Honda Accord Car Noise

Every time I start my car, especially when cold, it runs very loudly. It kind of sounds like the power steering pump, but goes away after it runs a few minutes.

Hi IRRITATED,

During cold start the engine rpm would be higher than normal and that would contribute to higher noise level.

It is possible the beltings are dry or loose causing the noise. Check condition and tension of belts.
