can i repair at home myself? passenger front wheel stud. while removing 4/5 lugs nuts. one sheared off. how hard to repair it!!! thanks for your time. kevin in northern ca

Hi kjparkhurst,

Not too easy.

You need to remove spindle nut, pull hub slightly out for the new stud to go in. Remove/loosen old stud before loosening spindle nut.

After installation, tighten and loosen spindle nut a few times to get the hub seated fully. Improper installation would cause the bearing to go bad.
