As I was driving, the service engine light came on and the instrument gages started bouncing up and down, then it ended, meanwhile the car is driving fine. I replaced the battery, since it was do. It did not happen again for about a week. The next time it happen, I replaced the air filter, and today I had a shop check it out but they could not duplicate the problem. This evening I was driving and it happen again except this time after the gages bounced a few times they went down and stayed down. I came home and checked all the fuses and they are OK. Any suggestions?

Hi jrod1944,

Get a free scan done at Autozone to retrieve for trouble codes and let me know the exact code if any.

The gauges not working is most likely due to power supply interruption and if the engine stalled or missed, it could be due to a faulty ignition switch.

Check with your local Honda dealer if your vehicle is within the batch for a safety recall on the ignition switch.
