I recently purchased this used accord for my daughter. I immediately had new timing belts, water pump, and serp. Belts. After that the rear motor mount started making a noise when placed in reverse. The mechanic says it is not a major concern. After a few months now, I am hearing a sound in the left front area but only makes this sound on deceleration. When I accelerate the sound is not there. I removed the tire and looked for obvious problems. But found non. It almost sounds as a bearing going out but if that was the case it would be all the time. What could this be and could it be caused by the rear motor mount being worn. Also, is the rear motor mount worn not an issue as the mechanic said?

If the rear engine mount is worn out, it is a huge problem. This can destroy your CV axles, cause exhaust leaks and ruin your other months. Replace it asap.

After you replace it, and the noise is still there, inspect the wheel bearings closely and the cv shafts.
