About every six months I have to replace the left low beam head light. Also, my radio stopped working, I tried to replace the fuse and when I put the new fuse in it blows.

Hi homenolan,

Headlight bulb blowing could be due to the quality of the bulb used.

Is the Radio fuse # 9 ( 20 A ) you are refering to? If yes, check the accessory socket for shorting.

I have tried all different brands and the most expensive. They all blow within six months and I know you can not touch the bulb. I checked the socket there is nothing in it. Is there any other way to check the socket.

Hi homenolan,

The bulbs if prone to vibration would tend to give way faster, especially when it is hot.

For the accessory socket, unplug the wire and test if the fuse blows. A test lamp attached to the fuse would be a good way of testing and saving some fuses. You might need to unplug the radio as well, it could be the culprit.
