I recently replaced the transmission in a honda 2001 accord v6 auto. Before the transmission was replaced the engine worked fine. I had a mechanic replace the transmission and he told me that the car started up and he ran it for a few minutes while checking out the shifting of the replaced tranny. After topping off the new transmission fluid, he went ot start the car and now he tells me that it does not start or click or anything. What can the problem possibly be? Is it battery related or ground related?

Yes check the grounds and make sure the battery is fully charged that will eliminate those and check the fuses and relays

Could it be alarm system related at all? Door contacts, etc.

Control shifter out of alignment? I was told maybe it could be this also. What do you think? And if this is a possibility where do you adjust it at the tranny end or shifter end? Thank you

It could be the anti theft system but I would check the grounds and relays first
