2000 Honda Accord Engine stuttering and vibrating

My car runs fine sometimes, but then it starts to shake heavily as if one of the spark plugs was bad. I changed my spark plugs and spark plug wires and made sure each wire was plugged into the previous ones place in the distributor cap. Now the problem seems a little worse. Then I changed two spark plug wire places in the distributor cap and it really started to shake alot so I switched them back and now im back to it being a little worse than before. What could the problem be?

Did you properly gap the plugs before replacing them? Also, if you have a miss, using insulated pliers so you don't get shocked, remove one plug wire at a time to see which one doesn't make a difference. That way you'll know which cylender the problem is coming from.

Let me know if the check engine light has come on too.
