2000 Honda Accord

I have recently purchase this vehicle. The previous owner had plates with stickers registered for January '11. I assumed I wouldn't have any issues getting it registered in my name. The car runs flawlessly but I can't it the emissions approved for it. The technicians told me that I have to just drive it around until something resets itself. I have already taken a road trip in it and and had a retest and nothing has changed. What could it possibly be?

Nothing failed. Its just saying not ready. The OBD II readings show that everthing is ready except for the catalyst, Evap Sys, O2 sensor, EGR Sys all say not ready.
