CABIN AIR FILTER

NOTE: Manufacturer's terminology for this filter is dust and pollen filter.

Removal & Installation (1998-2002)
1. Remove the glove box. Remove the bolt, screws and the glove box frame. See Fig. 1 .

2. Remove the filter lid from the evaporator, then pull out the lower dust and pollen filter and the upper dust and pollen filter in that order. See Fig. 2 .

3. Remove the filter from the housing and replace it. See Fig. 3 .

4. Install the filter in the reverse order of removal. Ensure arrow marks on edge of filter face in direction of air flow. Make sure that there is no air leaking out of the evaporator.
