1999 Honda Accord shuting injectors manually.

Gentelmen,

I have a question, and would like an opinion on.

There are cars on the road that have the injectors shut off automatically at crusing speeds in order to save gas.

I was wondering If I manually shut off a couple of injectors (electricaly cutting off the power to the injector using a switch). Would that work?
