My honda accord is overheating. I changed the thermostat, Relays for cooling fans, and I tested fans.

Both fans work. I jumped from battery to test them, but they will not turn on.

Is there a sensor that may be broken that triggers the relay. I have replaced the relays already. Car still over heating when I get to stop sign or idle.

Again Fans work, but they are not turning on.

Thanks

Hi synkardia,

Thank you for the donation.

Unplug the fan switch at the thermostat housing and bridge connector. Turn ignition switch on, does the fans come on?

How many relays did you chnge?

Did you check the relay near the compressor?

I ran some more tests - fans do run with AC unit. But don't seem to when AC is off and engine Hot.

I ddi the test on the fan switch and unplugged and bridged connection. They turned on.

I would guess now you might say that I need a new fan switch is that right?

Also I changed relays in box under hood towards back right corner thats it.

Fan Switch?

Yes, either the fan switch is faulty or you have insufficient coolant in the system
