1999 Honda Accord Gear Shift

My gear shift has been locking up in the parkied position. Sometiems the only way to get it to realease is to press hard on the brakes.

Hi valskin75,

The interlock is preventing the gear shift from being shifted out of park.

Check if the brake lights are working when it occurs. He brake switch could be faulty.
