My battery, break and door lights came on the other night. Took the car to the dealer and had a new alternator put in at Pep Boys since I had a warranty on the altetnator from them. Next morning the same 3 lights flash at me again so I take the car to my mechanic. He checks the battery (charge of 14.0); the altenator and all wires are good. Same story this morning. The flash of the lights is very quick, if you aren't looking at the dashboard you miss it, and it's very intermittent. What else could be causing this?

Hi mmlufran,

Thank you for the donation.

Possible causes for the condition could be :
1. Faulty ignition switch.
2. Bad wire connection. Could be a poor ground wire for the meters, gauges.
3. Faulty meter circuitry.

It is not going to be easy to detect such a problem and the ignition switch would be the most likely cause. There was a safety recall on the item, maybe you can check with your local Honda dealer for more details.
