I have a 1999 Honda Accord LX with 120000 mi. It runs fine when cold, but when its warmed up and you come to a stop the rpms drop and the engine struggles to stay on sometimes resulting in a stall. I went to the autoparts store and looked up the code which was p1166, p1167 (maufacturer control fuel/air monitoring). The common fix as per Haynes was to replace the O2 sensor. Did that nothing has changed. The car also hesitates when you take your foot off the brake and then press the accelerator, placing from park to drive, neutral reverse.

On my honda accord same problem, check your throttle body and your map sensor. All it needs is some cleaning or needs to be replaced.

I cleaned out the throttle body and checked the o2 sensor again, then reset the system. 2 mins later the check engine light turns back on and still having the same problem. The code suggests o2 sensor not map sensor. Is that what yours said?
