1999 Honda Accord dashboard warning

What does the dash board indicator light mean when it is a picture of a Motor and it say's check. Does it mean oil or water?

That is the Check Engine Lamp ( CEL ) and it is a warning indicator that a fault has been detected in the engine management system, You need to retrieve the Diagnostic Trouble Code to know what is causing it.

Autozone provides the scanning service free. Get it done and let us know the exact DTC and we will proceed from there.
