The upper radiator hose busted and I replaced it, than the car gauge showed the car running hot when sitting idle. I replaced the thermostat and the car gauge still shows the car running hot when sitting idle. What could it be?

Hi tpa1bxh,

Thank you for the donation.

Did you bleed the system after replacement of the upper hose and thermostat?

With cold engine, remove the radiator cap and check the coolant level. If it is low, top it up and run engine with radiator cap off. Keep topping up till coolant level is full and stabilises before closing radiator cap.

Check if the cooling fans are working.
