1998 Honda Accord NO THROTTLE RESPONSE

THIS PROBLEM DOES NOT RESULT IN ANY MALFUNCTION CODES BEING DISPLAYED.

ROUGH IDLE AND WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE IT WILL BEGIN TO BOG DOWN AS IT LOSES TORQUE TO THE FRONT DRIVE WHEELS. THE PROBLEM IS MOST APPARENT AFTER I RESTART THE VEHICLE WHEN IT HAS SET FOR FEW MOMENTS WITH THE ENGINE OFF.

Do a cylinder balance test to see which cylinder(s) is/are misfiring.

Then check for proper fuel and spark to those cylinders. It may also be a weak fuel pump or ignition coil that will affect all the cylinders. So you may want to test fuel pressure and spark strength as well.
