1998 Honda Accord flywheel replacement

I am replacing the flywheel/converter on my honda. Took all items attached to the transm. Case but it does not want to detach from engine. Do you have a diagram that shows where all bolt are that I need to detach it completely.

Hi billmesa,

I do not have any diagrams to show you.

Between the oil sump and ttrans housing there is a cover, remove the cover and you would be able to remove the torque converter holding bolts, 8 pieces of them.

Push converter into trans assy and allow it to come out together.

When installling, esure torque converter is seated fully, failing which you can damage the trans assy if it is forced in.
After tightening trans housing holding bolts, check the torque converter is turning freely before attempting to tighten the holding bolts.
