The heat control on my Honda is manual control. I have 5 push buttons to select the zones (no digital display) and 3 buttons for recirculate, A/C, and rear window defroster. The fan control works all the time however the other controls come and go. Sometimes they work fine, other times they do not work at all, and still other times they flash on and off. The main problem is when they are off you can no longer select the zone, A/C, or air temp. I picked up a used climate control module from a salvage yard and this one did not help or is even worse. Any ideas on what else I can check?

Thanks

Hi srstarke,

For this model, the climate control is susceptible to intermittent faults and I believe that is the case. The part sourced from the salvage yard seems to be faulty as well.

Quite often it is the circuit bord of the control panel is bad due to kleaking capacitors.

I would suggest getting a known good control panel to test.
