When replacing the battery, the SRS (airbags) light went on, and will not shut off. I had it reset by a Honda dealer, only for it to go back on.

Do you have any idea what I should do?
How can I disconnect it if I can't shut it off?

Hi there.

Honda should have read the code and advised on what repair is require to fix this problem, I would go get them to do the read, they should have done this in the first place.

723505 SRS input
"retrieved codes 08-5 SRS unit failure re-set computer
should light come back on, will require SRS unit $941.24 parts and labour plus tax"

As a result of the battery being replaced?

Hi there,

I would be getting Honda to re check the findings, but in the event of a voltage spike when the system was re activated with the battery replacement, you may have damaged the unit, I would first get this confirmed first as it is a lot of money.
