1997 Honda Accord Noises from the Rear of the Car

I have a noise coming from the rear of the car. I can hear it when the car is going slow. It makes this sound when I go forward and in reverse. Sometimes I believe it sounds like a knock, other times it sounds more like grinding. Is this expensive to fix?

Hi there,

Check that the brakes are ok, check all rear suspension attach points are tight and check for any leaking around the strut, if in doubt get a mechanic to inspect and report for you. As for cost this will depend on what the problem is.
