1997 Honda Accord Front side markers

I have both a 1995 Honda Accord LX and a 1997 Accord LX. The front side markers on the 1995 flash with the turn signals and the hazards. However, the front side markers on my 1997 do not. Is this correct or is there a wiring/relay circuit problem? Both cars have the same flasher relay and I have swapped them, but the front side markers still do not flash on the 1997. Any thoughts?

Could be faulty signal switch. Do the rear signals work?

Must be wiring issue at the front assemblies then, because they are supposed to flash as well. Check wiring and connections at both front assemblies.
