When I am accelerating uphill, or sitting idling at a stoplight, or after I let off the accelerator up to 30 miles an hour the engine rattles loudly. When I brake to slow down for a stoplight the rattling begins.
The car drives great, accelaration is fine, transmission shifting is fine as well. I am overdue for an oil change but have put oil in the car since my last oil change.
Any thoughts?

The rattling is coming from the engine or a vibration?
