1997 Honda Accord engine is making some noise

For a few weeks now, the car just shuts down when the steering wheel is turning to the extreme left or right or when the brake is applied. Also, yesterday, the engine light came on and there was noise heard from the engine. It sounds like something is loose in the engine itself.

Hi Rooh,

You need a scan to find out what is causing the Check Engine Lamp to show.

The stalling could be due to a faulty power steering pressure switch for idle up and low idling speed.

As to the noise, I don't understand what type of noise and from which component/part of engnine so unable to comment.
