Hi guys,
I'm just wondering the clutch maintenance schedule for my 97 honda accord as I do not have the owner's manual. My clutch is getting squeaky (bearings) and I don't know if I should take it in or wait until I have problems with it like slippage. It has 124,000 miles on it and the clutch has never been serviced. Any info you have will greatly help me. Thank you! Lacey

Hi there,

There is no set time to do a clutch it is very much up to how it is operation, there are a few signs that the clutch is starting to cause problems, such as a bit if shudder when taking off in 1st. If the thrust is getting noisy and it dose have a lot of miles on it, I would consider doing something with it sooner rather than later, especially if you are planning a long trip in the near future.
