Air Conditioning problem
1996 Honda Accord 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
I have a 1996 Honda Accord V6 with 157k miles. I recently began hearing a high pitched squeaky noise coming from my A/C compressor. A/C still works fine despite the noise and the noise is loudest when I start the car and then quiets down as I run it. Lately, I've also begun hearing intermittent knocking noise coming from the compressor. Any thoughts on what could be causing the noise? What kind of repair is needed? Do I need to replace the compressor? I had the refrigerant recharged about 6 months ago.
