1995 Honda Accord overheating

The car heats up and I pull over and let it cool down then put water/antifreeze in the radiator and the resevor then it runs fine then a day later it starts to overheat again. So I check the radiator and resevor and there is barley any water in there what what is the problem

Hi kennkann,

If the recovery ( reserve ) tank is full and radiator is drying out, you have a bad head gasket or radiator cap.

If the recovery tank is drying out as well, there is a leak somewhere in the cooling system.
