I'am In the process of doing an engine swap, and I noticed that the engine I got From the salvage yard is an 2.2 liter V-Tech. The old one is an 2.2 liter, but not V-Tech. I have noticed that the Engins are almost exat, but the V-Tech has a different distributor. My question is will the distributors inter-change? If not what are my options? The vehicle I'am working on is a 1995 Honda Accord LX, 2.2 Liter, Mileage on the vehicle is 143.000 miles.

Why do you want to change the distributor? What year is the engine you are putting back in?

My question is do I need to get harness to fit the V-tech engine. My other distributor will not enter-change. And both engines are 1995 Honda Accord Engines, only one is a V-tech and the other one is not, it is just an 16 valve engine
