1995 Honda Accord Hood latch

The hood release handle is not working. The hood will not open. I even tried pulling the wire to the handle with needle nose pliers. How do I get the hood to open with out using the hood release handle? The latch is stuck.

Hi jdvs30,

If the cable is not broken or detached, get someone to pull the opener while you push down on the hood and pull it up.

If this does not work, you need to get at the latch from the front grille, not an easy option.
