ABS light comes on after 30 sec or so of embarrassing buzzing. I have been told by the dealer it will be $1589.80 to replace ABS Modulator and Accumulator. I don't want to spend the money, but I also don't want to put up with the buzzing noise every time I start my car. I love this car and want to keep. How can I get rid of the buzzing?

Hello,

In order to get rid of the buzzing and the light you will have to replace the defective component.
Keep in mind that with a malfunctioning ABS system the braking performance will suffer. So, it is important to get this fixed.

It is always a good idea to scan the vehicle to retrieve the ABS codes.

I have attached the ABS modulator replacement and test procedures below.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
