my 96 honda accord starts but whin I giv it gas it bak fires an shuts off I change the fuel pummp could it b the crank sensor but am get fire frum the coil back wat u thin is the problem help plz

Check for proper fuel pressure with a pressure gauge.

Check for good strong spark that is white/blue at all cylinders.

Scan the ECU and retrieve any codes.

Let me know what you find.

The only thing remotely close to a crank sensor is the crankshaft position sensor inside the distributor. You will have no injector pulse and spark if these sensor is bad.

Do the checks I said in my first post and post up what fuel pressure you have and what codes are in the system.

I HAVE SCAN THE ECU CODES AN THE CRANK SENSOR CAME UP I ALREADY CHANGE IT AN NOW THE CYLINDER POSITION SENSOR IS SHOWING UP WAT IT IS AN HOW CAN I FIX IT

Hey watz up my 96 honda accord was runin find den it shuts off by it self an now it wont start I try push starting it an it wont wrk but when I look underneath the car ther was alot a water on the ground by the water pump do u think my engine is lock up if not wat u think is the problem help please asap thanx
