1994 Honda Accord electric door locks

1994 Honda Accord 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 94 4 door accord ex. When I lock the door the door will lock, but it keeps clicking and the lock plunger keeps moving up and down for about 20 seconds then stops. Is there a part inside the door that is needed and what is it.

Hi Mike Gaver,

The main door lock actuator is faulty due to the switch overrunning causing it to repeatedly lock.

You need to replace the door latch assy as the actuator comes as a set.
