Did you bleeed the cooling system?
If there is an air pocket in the cooling system, the water won't flow through the system, and it will overheat quickly like you described.

Hi aliisda,

If after 10 mins the overheating starts, most probably the coolant are not flowing or air pocket. After bleeding if the problem is still there, you need to have a look at the water pump.

Remove the thermostat and reinstall the housing. Top up the cooling system and start engine with radiator cap off. If the water is slow or not moving along the radiator neck, the water pump is weak or faulty. Revving the engine should get the water flow fast.
