1993 Honda Accord Stalling

My car keeps stalling on me when im driving it. All the electrical things like the lights and radio stay on when the car stalls. The temperature on the dash bored is just under the half way mark when the engine seems to turn it self off as soon as it does the check engine light will turn on. Once the cars been off about five minutes it will start up again and drive for a little while more before it does the same thing again. The car runs really well for having the high mileage it has this is my first issue with the car since ive had it if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks.
