Recently the check engine and ABS lights came on

I have a 1993 Honda Accord SE with approximately 167K miles on it. Recently the check engine and ABS lights came on. Today the D4 light started flashing and some clicking sound started that coincided with the flashing of the D4 light. The car acts like it does not want to accelerate and does not idle down when driving. It's like its stuck.

Hi cportley,

The engine management system has detected faults in the system and you need to find out what is causing the problem to be able to rectify them.

Bridge the connector, turn ignition on and count the number of long and short blinks for all 3 indicator lights and come back with the error codes. Long blink = 10, short = 1.
