1992 Honda Accord power steering pump

1992 Honda Accord 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

since my garage replaced a leaky pipe from the steering pump to the box I have a grating noise when turning the steering wheel. They tell me its air in the system but don't seem eage to cure this. How can I bleed the air out

Hi estiy,

The system is self bleeding, you just need to make full left to right a few times and it should be ok.

I suspect the noise is from the replaced high pressure pipe, it will produce groaning noise if not replaced with OEM parts.

Thanks KHLow2008.I thought the pipe had a different design than the original Honda part, now I know why they don't wish to do anything about it. Your help is fantastic, groan is the exact sound, really appreciated.
