Hi john,

DTC 43 = Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S ) circuit malfunction.

For ODB 1 code readers, they are varied and normally small handheld scanners do not work. Only the higher end diagnostic scanners works.

Almost all Pre ODB II models have manual code retrieving functions and you can retrieve them and check the code from various sources.

Hi John,

Click the link underneath and you can get to our equipment store.

For Dodge I am not an expert and I would suggest posting your question over at Dodge cars and one of my fellow technicians would gladly take over from there.

Please be as specific as possible so that we can understand the problem and advise accordingly.

For your 1992 Accord, you can retrieve the code by jumping the connector as illustrated in the diagram and with ignition switch turned to ON, count the flashes of the Check Engine Lamp.
