Why would my brake light come on?

Hi Shauna559,

You mean the brake lights stays on without depressing the pedal?

Check for a damaged/missing stopper at the brake pedal switch area. The switch is now activated as there is nothing to turn off the switch.

Check for low brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir or a faulty sensor switch.
