1990 Honda Accord poor gas milieage

I have this car for 2 years now, always has been good on mpg(26 to 30) but now I get only about 17 per gallon and somtimes the engine light go on and then off. Thanks

Hi there,

Have a scan done to see what the fault code is, do plugs, leads, all filters, check valve clearances ignition timing and replace the O2 seiners, these if faulty will cause the ECU to run rich.
