What can cause a rubber smell on a 90 honda accord thats sat for two months when finally started up again? It seems to stall minimally. Oil and tune up have not been done for over 9 months. Not over heating. Radiator was flushed as a precaution as driving 250 to 300 miles a week now. Check engine light can on. Refurbished motor. Could something be grounding out? Can not get obd to register or come on.

Check to make sure the serp belt accessories such as idler pullies, belt tensionier. Are spinning freely and not burning the belt. Also, often times, oil can lay in areas (after sitting) and create a smell that you didn't have before. If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned for codes. Most parts stores will do it for free.
