1990 Honda Accord 1990 Honda Accord quits once a month

We just Brought a 1990 Honda Accord With 155,000 miles for our daughter. We have not driven a lot yet. The problem is about once a month it just quits. If we let it set for 15 minutes it will start again. We replaced the distributer, coil, and ignitor, but that didn't help.

Hi there,

Start with checking for any set fault codes, this may give you a clue on where to start looking for this problem.

Hi Letcher1990,

You must have forgotten to pay the car its monthly salary so it refuses to work. Just joking.

If no set codes are found, try replacing the Main relay.
