I commute 120 miles round trip to work, criuse control 95%, morning drive no issues, lunch or going home car misses bad on aceleration or when I try harder to acelerate it stalls completely. The car has completely stalled twice in the afternoon and I added gas and got it started back, then went straight home. I have changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, rear gas filter, fuel pump cut off relay. It is not fuel injected, I have the shop repair manual and I noticed that there is a vacuum line labeled fuel cut off. Could this be the issue? I am tied of not knowing if I will make it home. 120 miles a day commute at 65 mph - 70 mph should be an easy run for this honda. What's my next step? Should I replace the main relay? Is this electrical or gas? I am still not sure.

Hi 1136164,

Thank you for the donation and sorry for the delay in replying.

Symptoms indicate a possible fault with the accelerating pump or power jet system. When either system fails, there would be insufficient fuel getting to the cylinders and engine would stall or lag.

You would need to get the carburettor serviced.
