I had a breakdown with my work car today, I had driven approximately 16-20 miles and on my last stop before heading back to work I turned on the car and noticed the engine sounded like it was a lawnmower instead of a 4 cyl engine, I could only get to maybe 15-20 miles an hour before it would start shaking and wobbling, I immediately turned the car off and had it towed, I was told it seems the engine isn't getting enough power from the exhaust system which is why the car is not driving normally, Any help in the right direction would be awesome, I don't want to junk it because it has been a very decent car.

Hi tiggerdn,

I do not understand what is meant by not getting ehough power from the exhaust?

The exhaust does not provide any power. It would cause running problems if it is clogged.
