Engine cranks over, but wont start. Has weak spark from coil (dull orange) have replaced coil, and changed ignition module with no change to spark. Have also tried a new lead from coil. Has new battery, rebuilt motor. Was running when I drove into shed to put timing lite on it, then it stopped and now will not start.

Weak ignition system

Measure the coil's positive terminal voltage.

Do this run a jumper wire from the battery positive post to the coil positive terminal -is it still dull orange-

If voltage ta positive side of coil is low could that be caused by a power wire that is maybe resting against hot header pipe?
