Hi, I had just replaced my battery and alternator(recon), as the battery light was on the dash.
And after two days of driving, the vehicle stopped dead.
No charge in the battery.
As the battery was under warranty (67 Century Ultimate Performance) I took it back to Autobarn, who charged the battery to full charge.

After another 2 days, the same thing happened. Could the alternator still be buggered?

Cheers

Hi there,

You will need to get the alternator charge rate tested, and get the batter load tested as this is the only way to test a battery condition, but if the charge light is on, look at the alt first, also check that main feed wire at the alt, often these terminals corrode and cause a problem, you may have to splice in a new section if it is very bad and corroded down the wire.
