Hi there, since last week or so, in the morning my car starts up with high rpm's 1500-1600, after one minute it drops down to 1000-1100 for few minutes and finally arrives at 800 rpm. I wonder what went wrong, there's no warning lights on?

This is controlled by the ECM the RPM is higher when colder and as it warms it goes down. If you think there is a problem then I would think it would be with the coolant temperature sensor, but if the idle goes down after a short time then I would think it is normal.

As a new car it used to start up at 1000-1100 rpm shortly it dropped 700-800, now it is up to 1600 rpm and it takes much longer to reach the 800 rpm level, however you are right, I just noticed that coolant level is low, I'll bring it to correct level and see what happens. I will keep you informed. Thanks for your help.

Did adding coolant help, do you have a coolant leak?

Try cleaning throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and look for a vacuum leak maybe
